Jake and I needed a new car. BAD! We had a Toyota with 306,000 miles and a Honda Accord with 203,000 miles. We needed to get one before it was too late.
So we drove to the dealership to look around. We didn't have plans of buying a car that day. We looked a Honda CRV and a Subaru. They were both the same price so that wasn't a factor. We test drove them and the Subaru won!
I have always wanted a Subaru and they just got this one on the lot. It was fate.
We wanted something that would last us a long time and they we could keep for our future family as long as we could and we didn't really want a minivan. It only has 92,000 miles on it with brand new tires. How could we resist?!
We love this car! It was a little more than what we wanted but we both felt really good about it so we went for it and haven't regretted it.
We have never owned a new car since we've been married and we have never had a car payment so this will be a change but we are glad we got it.

Woohoo! It's always fun to have a "new" car! You're smart for not buying new new but used new - good job! Are you driving that out here to see us in June? Get here however you can - car, plane, train, horse and buggy, canoe, tricycle, llama, little red wagon ... just come!! Love you both!!
