I'm ready for SPRING!

Ok, I HATE the snow. With a PASSION! It's cold, wet, slick and it always keeps me from getting to where I need to go! It always ruins my plans. I'll admit, it IS pretty and all, but I just don't like it. Winter can be so boring. Now for you people out there in Utah and the West, it may be fun for you. Sledding and snowmobiling and such, but out here, not so much. Not everyone has a snowmobile and there aren't very many that have sleds and the snow here is different. Mother Nature mixes ice in it for something extra special. Maybe thats why I don't like it so much....the ICE. And then, we have the people from the West come out here and think they are all that and they think they can drive in this white stuff. Well, you can't. Cause it's NOT the same! Ugh...I'm so ready for Spring.

Life always ruins the plans....

Ok, so, you all know I was in a car accident on November 4th, 2010. Well, since then, I have been going to a Chiropractor non-stop. My jaw was dislocated, my neck had severe whiplash, my jaw was dislocated from the airbag and my back was out of place. Well, the last few weeks, my hip and the left side of my rib cage has really been hurting. So I went to a Chiropractor in Hot Springs, cause he is the best of the best....to me at least. My family has been going to him for years so I trust him. Well, I get down there and I telling everything thats been going on with my body and where it hurts. Let me back up, a few weeks ago I noticed the left side of my rib cage was poking out and I was getting sharp pains in my back where my ribs are. Anyways, I tell him that. They did a ultrasound on my ribs and come to find out, my rib cage is pinched. Imagine one side of your rib cage pushed forward...yeah, ouch. Well, it was been messing up my left hip and cause me to have dead legs all the time. Wonderful. Ok, so, this guys hands are GIANT! So he gets his hand under the cage, grabs it, and pulls it down and pushes it in. Oh. My. Gosh. Boy, did that hurt! And he could only get 2 ribs back. Well, 2 is better then non. I'm so glad I know what the problem is and that I can start breathing normal! Well, almost. It still hurts to breath, move and even sleep. But I AM getting better. :)

New Years!

The Palmer family, my mom's side, does a Pine Wood Derby every New Years day. We have a track and everything! My uncle, Kimball even makes trophies. It's pretty epic. And we get some crazy looking cars out there. There were the Jr. racers and the Sr. racers. My cousin, Michael, won the Jr. and my brother, Michael, won the Sr. After the race we did what we do best....eat Mexican!

The Cars. Some of them are pretty crazy looking. We had potatoes with wheels on them for cars. The Buzz Lightyear one is Ethan's. That giant one is my cousin, David's. It's the buss from the movie Nacho Libre. It's was crazy. But we had a blast! Can't wait to see what people come up with next year!
