Saying Goodbye To Nephi

The last few months have had it's ups and downs. This family never thought they would have to go through something like this. To learn how to take care of someone with a broken back and someone with a broken neck. Because of this turn in life, we have had to miss out on things. Like going to Utah to take Nephi to the MTC. It's been hard getting him ready. My mom and I couldn't go to the temple for his first time. And no one could go to Utah with him. Nephi is the baby in the family and everyone has a special closeness to him. He's the only one that won't have most of  the family there to say goodbye at the MTC. He is the only one who didn't have mom go to the temple with him. But we did try to get as many of us as we could to go to the airport to say goodbye. We all wanted to cry. But Nephi has such a tender heart that we all knew if we started crying then it would have been harder on Nephi. He wanted to go on a mission but he didn't want to go because of the condition the family is in. Especially mom. But he knows and the family knows that him going would be the greatest blessing for this family. Nephi will be a amazing missionary in Lima Peru. He is an amazing person and he will be missed. I love my little brother so much and I wish so bad that I could have gone to Utah to see him off. My brother Hyrum, went with him to help him get ready out there so I'm glad he isn't totally alone.
